Pink, Orange & Green Journals

To help brighten up your week – or maybe it’s just because I’m actually enjoying some sunshine this week! – I had a little bit of fun with pink, orange, and green on a few stationery products.
I used the Bare Basics Hearts on a journal – chipboard, corrugated board, and white felt. I used acrylic paint on all the hearts. Then I decorated them with a little bling.
(Beware of the acrylic paint on the felt – it takes a LONG time to dry!)
On another journal, I used the Bare Basics Pennants and Stack-a-Bellies Cupcakes.
My cupcake has a patterned paper-covered chipboard bottom. To decorate the frosting, I used a corrugated piece (flipped to the white side) and a few bling butterflies. The pennants were painted with acrylic paint and flipped on their sides to use as tabs for my journal.
