Countdown to Halloween
05 October 2012 | By Beth in UncategorizedGood morning, guys! I am fully into the Halloween Spirit (and have been since…oh, about August), so my project today is a little Halloween countdown calendar made with a bunch of different – and adorable - Basically Bare embellies.
The largest cardstock frame from the Fanciful Frame set and the moon from the Celestial Shapes set were covered with glittery cardstock. The frame surrounds some chalkboard cardstock where the days left until the big day can be ticked off.
I covered each of these chipboard Happy Little Houses with a different Halloween paper and then added the doors, which were with contrasting papers.
I made the “smoke” coming out of the chimneys by rolling up the canvas leaves from the Bare Basics Blossoms and Leaves set.
I cut a Happy Little Tree down to be a little thinner and spookier looking, and added some eyes to it. Some Bare Basics Buttons turned into pumpkins using orange paper and some Zig markers.
That’s all for today! We’ll see you again soon!
x Beth
