Hello everyone!!! It has been a while since I’ve been on the Basically Bare Blog, but I’m super excited to be a Guest Designer over the next few days.

My name is Erika Taylor and I am so honored to share with you a few projects over the next 3 days using Basically Bare products. These products are absolutely amazing to work with and I’ve had fun creating this first project for you.

Today I’m going to share with you a layout I created using the Betty’s Brackets Mini Album. First off I took a few chipboard pages out of the album and applied Gesso to one side. After that was dry, I liberally spritzed the chipboard with a combination of Lavender and Be Mine Glimmer Mist from Tattered Angels. I wanted even more texture, so I used a mask and some molding paste to create a design on the one corner.

Now here is the fun part. To create the shaped page, I laced together the two chipboard pages with ribbon to create a single page perfect for my layout. The hand dyed silk ribbon is finished off with a triple bow at the bottom. Pretty isn’t it???

I adding some fussy cut elements, and Dew Drops to the layout and then to finish it all off, I used a piece of chipboard from the Fanciful Frames package to create the backdrop for the title.

The perfect way to deconstruct a mini album and make it into a Scrapbook Layout. I love the way that ribbon looks and it was super easy to create. Here is the finished project for you.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I would love to hear your comments and 1 lucky commenter over the next 3 days will win an assortment of Basically Bare goodies from me to you!!!

Until tomorrow

Toodles
