Thanks so much, Amy!  Now off we go with day three!

Hi again! Amy Prior here again today to share my last blog post as Guest Designer this month. It has been such an amazing time playing with all the gorgeous Basically Bare goodies and I hope you have all loved browsing through my creations.

Today I have a few Scrapbook Layouts to share with you all. The first layout is titled Sunshine on a Rainy Day. I just adore these photos of my girls playing with their umbrellas in the rain. It is the beginning of Winter here in Australia and my girls always bring me sunshine on a rainy day!

For this layout I have used the gorgeous Sun from the Basically Bare Celestial Shapes Pack. This packet of goodies is one of my faves and this Sun was coated with a layer of Tattered Angels Burnt Red Glimmer Mist and then topped off with Sour Lemon Suzy West WOW Embossing Powder.

The papers I have used for this layout are from the Pink Paislee Nantucket Collection as well as some Stampin Up papers.

Among other embellies there are a few goodies from Handmade Halo and the background paper was created using Spray Mists and the Heidi Swapp Color Me Resist Papers. I just adore these papers!

Next up I have a layout to share that is far from girly. This layout is of my dorky husband and his even more dorky best friend. I have used a tonne of Basically Bare goodies on this layout and I just love how it has turned out!

The papers I have used are all from various Tim Holtz Paper Pads that I had here and for the background, I have added a 12×12 Transparency from Hambly.

I have used the entire packet of the Basically Bare Gears #2 on this layout. After embossing all the Gears with various Embossing Folders and my Big Shot, I have added a coat of Black Gesso to the acrylic Gears and a coat of Viva Silver Metallic Colour Paint to the black chipboard Gears. After these were dry I have sanded back the raised embossed areas to reveal the core colours and then the black chipboard gears received some sprinkles of Ultra High Copper & Gold WOW Embossing Powder.

The Basically Bare Arrows I have used on this layout were some corrugated and some black chipboard ones. The corrugated Arrows were stripped back to reveal the inner corrugated core and then they received a rough layer of WOW Ultra High Copper Embossing Powder. The black chipboard Arrows just got a little sprinkle of some WOW Ultra High Gold Embossing Powder.

After these elements were ready, the rest of the layout went together nicely. The title and other embellishments were created by fussy cutting some of the Tim Holtz papers and then adding some distressing and tearing.

The final result of this layout is a very manly grungy page for 2 very UN-manly men in my life LOL.

The next and final layout I have to share with you today is this gorgeous Bundle of Joy! This photo of my gorgeous girl Chloe bundled up in a blanket. She was only a few weeks old here and I have included some journaling hidden on this layout.

The papers used for this layout are from Graphic 45 and I have simply cut a line down the centre of each paper half way down and then rolled back the edges after distressing the edges.

I have used some elements from the gorgeous Basically Bare Welcome Little One Pack on this page. The antique looking pram has received a coat of Gesso, followed by some colouring with Watercolour pencils and then topped off with some Silver Gelato.

There is also an Acrylic Babies Bottle used from the Welcome Little One Packet that I have decorated using Liquid Pearls (White Opal & Bisque Colours). Scattered around the page, you can also see some gorgeous stars from the Basically Bare Celestial Pack. One of the Chipboard stars, I have covered with some of the Graphic 45 paper and the other Acrylic Stars have been embossed using my Big Shot and then coated with Gesso, then sanded back. A couple of Pink Pearls were added to these stars to add a touch of colour.

The flower clusters include a tonne of goodies from Prima, Manor House Creations, Dusty Attic & Kaisercraft. Some of the flowers were originally white and I have coloured these using coordinating Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists.

The inspiration for this layout really came from the photo. I wish I had of printed the photo a little larger so it was more of a larger focus point however I wanted to wrap her photo up and I am happy with how it turned out.

I have had so much fun Guest Designing for Basically Bare and I thank everyone at Basically Bare for the opportunity! I hope I have inspired you all a little and please feel free to become a follower of mine on my blog or on Facebook, to keep up with my Scrapbooking Journey.
