5 Reasons Why I Love You

11 April 2012 | By Emily in Uncategorized

Hello everyone! It’s Emily Lanham here today with my very first post as a Basically Bare design team member! I am soooo excited to be a part of this uber talented team! I have had a blast so far playing with all of the fun Basically Bare products, they really are as fabulous as they look!

Since I am a part of the book bunch, I thought it would be appropriate for me to start out with a mini album today! Creating mini albums is where I started in scrapbooking about 7 years ago. I tend to dabble into a little bit of everything paper crafts, but mini albums are my first true love ♥

I fell in love with the Krafty Keepsake – Retro album. Not only is it a cool blackboard album on the outside, but on the inside, every page is a little mini envelope to store keepsakes! I had to use this one for one of my many wedding mini albums for sure!

I used papers from the Theresa Collins “Carolina Breeze” collection, which was fitting since my wedding took place on a beautiful beach in the Carolina’s!  I love anything black & white with one accent color. I’ve been on a “yellow kick” lately, which isn’t a bad thing! It’s a great color for accents!

Here are the rest of the pages in my little album:

Throughout the album I used pieces from  the Paparazzi, Arrows, and Celestial Shapes sets. On page 2 you can see that the arrow is shimmery, I used Marshmallow Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels.

Thanks for stopping by today!
