Baby Girl Lunchbox Tin

26 March 2012 | By admin in Uncategorized

Today is a special entry for me. I am bringing you a favorite project I made for a friend of mine.  She is a scrapbooking friend I met a few years ago and we just clicked and the rest is history.  Well, she is having her first granddaughter.  Many many boys have been born, but this is the very first girl on her side of the family.  So obiously I needed to make her a special momento to keep.  Here it is!!

The front of the tin with the name of the baby at the top.  Aubrie Marie.  Very fun and playfull.

Basically Bare has a wonderful baby set and I used the bottle above.  It is the acrylic bottle.  I wanted to outline it in pink and water-wash the white to make it look like milk.

The rattle is made of chipboard and I painted it pink with rick rack, Stickles and a flower.  So cute and easy to make.  You will love this packet.  One of the other figures is a bassinett.

Closer view.

I hope you enjoyed my project and will try it yourself.  The lunchbox tins can be used for any occasion and most likely there will be embellishments from Basically Bare to fit the subject.

Thank you for stopping by and “be creative”.
