I adore altering embellishments to make them fit perfectly into a project. The possibilities are truly ending aren’t they? From paint and mist, to papers and embossing powders, the sky is the limit when you have Basically Bare embellishments to play with.
Hi everyone, Erika Taylor here today to share with you a few projects I’ve created using some of the Basically Bare products. First a simple card I created using Nikki Sivils papers, so ribbon and twine. I took the Heart Basically Embellies pack and covered one of the heart with paper. Then I distressed the edges with Distress ink. So soft and vintage.
For my next project I used the Basically Embellies Buttons package. I love how well these chipboard pieces take to Glimmer Mist. The colors turn out fantastically!!! Some of the buttons were sprayed once and others were spray 3 times. I used two different colors of Glimmer Mist as well.
Here is a close up of those beautiful buttons for you
That’s it for me today. But first, what is your favorite Basically Embellies pack? Inquiring minds want to know. Thanks so much for stopping by the Basically Bare blog today. Make sure you check out the store and grab a few of your favorites.
